In just 36 hours, the Morgan community came together in a powerful way - demonstrating what’s possible when purpose meets generosity.
From noon on April 22 to 11:59 PM on April 23, hundreds of donors came together to contribute over $370,000 in just 36 hours—exceeding our goal and reinforcing the strength of the Morgan community.
The impact of the second annual All Paws In campaign will shape the future of today’s students while strengthening Morgan’s legacy for generations to come.

#2 Department of Family and Consumer Sciences

The Department of Family and Consumer Sciences—formerly Home Economics—prepares students to enhance the quality of life for individuals, families, and communities. Offering a Bachelor of Science degree with concentrations in Child Development, Family Science, Fashion Merchandising, and General Studies, the program blends research, technology, and interdisciplinary learning to address real-world challenges.

All Paws In: Jordan Gipson
Jordan Gipson was recently elected as the next Mister Morgan State University. Before the title and recognition, he wasn’t sure he would make it to college. As a freshman, Morgan State was the only school that gave him a chance. Through his studies at the Earl G. Graves School of Business, leadership opportunities with the Office of Student Life and Development, and professional experiences with Red Bull, NBCUniversal and Disney, Jordan’s path has been elevated by the National Treasure.
